Use of artefilities in the adaptation of pupils with OMJ to the primary school environment

The diploma thesis "The Use of Art Therapy in the Adaptation of Students with Different Native Languages to the Elementary School Environment" focuses on the utilization and effectiveness of art therapy as the main tool for developing relationships and improving the social climate of the classroom. The aim of the thesis is to propose and verify through research an art therapy program in the fifth grade of elementary school. The theoretical part introduces the specifics of students with different native languages, particularly their Adaptation to a new environment as well as the preparation of all presently studying students in the class and the school as such for the arrival of a student with a different native language. The theoretical part also defines art therapy as a separate field of science subject, its focus, and its contribution to education. The practical part presents ten art therapy sessions aimed at developing prosocial behavior, assertiveness, and socially acceptable behavior not only among Czech students but especially among students with different native languages and war refugees. The impact of school bullying on a child's school performance

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to analyse the impact of bullying on school achievement. The thesis is designed as a theoretical-practical one. The theoretical part describes the issue of bullying, the topic of school success and the impact of bullying on school success. The practical part describes the research conducted to find out what impact personal experience of bullying had on the school success of victims of bullying. A sub-objective was to formulate recommendations for victims of bullying regarding prevention and management of school failure associated with the experience of bullying. The research sample consisted of five female students aged 17-25 years who experienced bullying in elementary school. Interviews were conducted with these communication partners. The results are presented in the form of case studies. Contacts to professionals who deal with the topic were provided as part of the proposed recommendations. The importance of confiding in the bully or at least finding a functional way to survive bullying in the role of a victim was pointed out.
The changes of elementary school climate caused by the remote schooling

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of changing the climate of class collectives caused by remote schooling. The research investigation deals with the connections between the functioning of class teams today and the social ties between students that have been disrupted by remote schooling. It deals with climatic types of the school environment, their positives and negatives. It clarifies the roles of individual school positions and explains competencies and the possibilities of influence of these posts on influencing the class climate. In the last part of the theoretical part, he outlines the possibilities of diagnostic investigations in the school environment and the selection for the research investigation of this work. The research was carried out using a quantitative questionnaire survey in the form of an electronic questionnaire with closed questions. The respondents were pupils of the 8th year of elementary school. The survey results were interpreted using pie charts and commented. Answers that deviated from the average of other respondents were compared with other answers of specific respondents, entered in a graph and subsequently commented on. Formation of the authority of a teacher at the first stage of primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of creating the teachers authority. Its goal is to more deeply examine given problematics, reveal causes of authority weakening and also focus on possible impacts of teachers authority loss towards the students. In theoretical part of this thesis are recorded the most important points concerning the term of authority of the teacher as well as problematics of discipline and environment in the classroom, which both have influence on the authority of a teacher. Further in this part is discussed term of the personality of a teacher, which is important for his authority and also the term of motivation. In the next part of the thesis is conducted evaluation of a mixed research. A survey was conducted as a quantitative part of the research and an interview as a qualitative part. Both methods were realized with teachers from primary stage of elementary school as responders. Informations acquired from the surveys are supplemented by the interviews. The results show how the authority and its creation is important for teachers, what experience with the discipline in the classroom teachers have and what is the environment the teachers have in classrooms.
Utilizing a positive social climate in the classroom through drama education

The bachelor thesis Creating a positive social climate in the classroom through drama education finds out how drama education can be used to create a favorable environment in the kindergarten classroom. The theoretical part deals with the social climate of the classroom, its factors important for creating a favorable kindergarten environment, also refers to the characteristics of drama education, its function in preschool education (especially in developing children's personal and social skills) and its need for teachers. The practical part of the work pays attention to the possibilities of working with these activities in kindergarten. A project was developed and implemented, which included prepared dramatic activities that encourage children's creativity, imagination, empathy, teamwork, mutual respect, friendly classroom atmosphere, etc. The research was based on qualitative research, specifically on the methods of the participant. observations, video recordings, interviews as feedback to the implemented project and own knowledge and notes. The research sample was children and a kindergarten teacher. Based on the project, it was found that drama education is very beneficial for the social climate of the classroom.
Comparison of psychosocial climate of the first grade classes at primary school and elementary school with elements of Montessori pedagogy from the teacher perspective.

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the psychosocial climate of classes of ordinary elementary schools and elementary schools with the elements of Montessori pedagogy from the teacher perspective. The theoretical part summarizes the current knowledge concerning the psychosocial climate of the class and the knowledge of pedagogy according to Marie Montessori. The practical part consists of qualitative research, semi-structured interviews with respondents working in ordinary elementary schools and respondents from elementary schools with elements of Montessori pedagogy were used. Its aim was to obtain information on the process of creating a psychosocial climate in both these types of primary schools. The differences between the two groups of respondents in the area of determinants of the creation of psychosocial climate, obstacles in the creation of psychosocial climate, the educational style of teachers and the use of project teaching proved to be significant.
The climate of the classroom of primary school pupils with adjusted learning outcomes

The bachelor's thesis deals with determining the perception of the classroom climate in primary school pupils with the minimum recommended level for adjusting the expected outcomes within the support measures. The aim is to find out the perception of the school classroom climate of heterogeneous pupils and pupils with a minimum recommended level with special educational needs. The theoretical part clarifies the individual concepts necessary for understanding the practical part. Terms such as the classroom climate, the specifics of pupils with disabilities and the education of pupils with special educational needs are explained here. The practical part presents the results of a qualitative research survey, which aimed to determine the perception of the classroom climate from the perspective of students and class teachers.
Working with the classroom climate of the mainstream nursery school for the inclusion of a child with visual impairment

The bachelor thesis focuses on preparation of class environment at a mainstream educational kindergarten for integrating a visual impaired child. The aim of this thesis is to analyse theoretical findings of the selected topic and to work up a package of methodical suggestions on theoretical bases for teachers at the mainstream educational kindergartens who are supposed to integrate a visual impaired child to their class. A qualitative strategy was chosen to reach this aim. The thesis is divided in two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the definition of term visual impaired, the specifics of education and development of a preschool visual impaired child. The thesis also deals with the basic characteristic of preschool education where legislative solution and curriculum documents are not neglected. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the class environment itself in the area of preschool education. The practical part includes a suggestion of methodical material which can serve the teachers of the mainstream educational kindergartens as an inspiration for the preparation of the class environment for the arrival of the visual impaired child to the mainstream educational kindergarten. The methodical material is divided into two educational units. The first educational unit deals with the preparation of intact children for the arrival of a visual impaired child. The second unit deals with the familiarization of the legal representatives of the intact children with issues of visual disorder.
